Service Learning Opportunities for all ages

Groups could include Elementary, Middle School, High School, College Students, Adult Groups, or Family Groups

We provide year-round programming. Choose the dates that are best for you and your group. We'll work with you to craft an experience that deep-dives into some of the most pressing issues in our world today. 

Possible Topics of Exploration might include:

• Our relationship with the land
• Nature Expeditions and Ecosystems on our trails
• Exploring our environmental impact
• Learning ways of growing food and medicine
• Preparing healthy meals
• The medical impact of our food systems
• Soil Management and Erosion Control

Depending on the time of year, your group experience might include:

• Gardens - learning about soil regeneration, planting seeds, harvesting, and preparing meals or dishes from available produce,
• Creeks - water quality testing, erosion control, and the role salamanders, crawdads, and even rocks contribute to a healthy eco-system,
• Compost - from worms to compost tea, from farm to table and from table back to the land again,
• Chickens - animal care and the roles these funny feathered friends play in the overall eco-system,
• Pollinators - learning about the importance of bees and other pollinators,
• Forest Foraging - discovering a whole new world along nine different hiking trails located onsite including edible flowers, medicinal bark, and multiple varieties of mushrooms
• Healthy Cooking & Nutrition classes

We will also make ample time to relax, have fun and explore the beautiful area around us. Some activities your group might want to explore include:
