Frequently Asked Questions

Can we use the pool?

Yes! The Christmount pool is typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day each season. Camps and Groups have priority booking for the pool, but we will do our best to save some time for the Christmount residents to use the pool each week. You can also reserve the pool for private pool parties. Just contact the Front Office to check availability and pricing.

Can we use the recreation areas?

Yes! Again, Camps and Groups have priority booking & scheduling for these spaces, so we simply ask that you check with the Front Office to reserve a time to use these spaces. These areas include the basketball, pickleball, gaga ball, volleyball, playground, and large field.

Can we camp on the Hiking Trails or in the woods?

All of the Hiking Trails and wilderness areas are under the protection of the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy and therefore no tent camping, campfires, or cutting of any trees is permitted. We have a lovely tent camping area just below the RV spaces that includes a campfire ring and picnic tables.

Is there a Community Garden?

Yes! The Christmount Resident's Community Garden is located off Magnolia Road just past the Group Lodge. Raised bed plots are usually available for rent each season.

Can I volunteer or help in any way?

Yes! We love volunteers! Let us know if you would like to answer phones, maintain trails, garden, weed, plant, paint, give tours, update the website, or provide a valuable skill that only you can offer!
