We are now offering Day Passes, Season Passes, and Pool Passes for the greater community. Check out the options below! 


All day-visitors to Christmount are encouraged to purchase a Day Pass or Season Pass and are required to have a Waiver on file with us.



Pool Rules


  1. Pool may be reserved for private parties. All guests, residents, visitors – everyone – must schedule their pool requests in advance through the Christmount office.
  2. All guests, residents, visitors – everyone – must check in at the Christmount office before entering the pool area.
  3. Pool time is limited to 2 hours per day.
  4. Christmount groups – camps, retreats, reunions, etc – have priority when it comes to scheduling pool time.
  5. Christmount residents may bring 1 guest for free. Additional guests must purchase the daily pool pass.
  6. Christmount does not provide chairs, towels, or pool toys. You may bring your own. All personal items must be taken home with you each day.
  7. There is no Lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. An adult must be present when children are in the pool. No one is allowed to swim alone.
  8. Pool Hours are scheduled weekly by the Front Office and will be posted on the website.
  9. Report any issues to the Front Office.
  10. No glass containers inside the fence.
  11. No alcohol, no tobacco at the pool.
  12. Everyone must exit the water as well as the pool deck if thunder is heard. Re-entry is permitted 30-minutes after the final thunder.
  13. Pets must be on leash and may not enter the water.

Christmount is happy to welcome day guests who want to enjoy recreation activities on our property. Review our rates and policies below. Please read all policies before applying for membership or reserving a day pass.


Policies for Season Membership and Day Guest Pass Holders


  • Membership cycle runs January to December.
  • Season memberships for the following year typically go on sale in October. We sell a limited number and recommend purchasing early to be sure there is availability.
  • Reservations must be made with the Front Office. Season members should call 828.669.8977 or email frontdesk@christmount.org. Weekend reservations must be made by 3 PM on Friday.
  • Guest passes are good from 8 AM to dusk for the date for which they are issued. Times available are subject to change.
  • Guest passes are only available when the pool and other requested amenities have not been reserved by a group. Christmount reserves the right to deny the use of property at any time. That is why it is imperative that everyone (including members) make reservations.
  • Each guest must have signed a registration/release form on file. These must be updated annually.

Members and day pass guests must display their parking pass in the front window of their vehicle.

  • Beginning in 2021 you must purchase a parking pass for the year. Replacement and parking passes are $20.
  • Monday-Friday day guests will stop by the Front Office in the Guest House to pick up a parking pass. 
  • If arrival time is scheduled after 5 PM, please contact to the office during office hours to make arrangements to pick up a parking pass.



Please review the following rules with all members of your party:

All activities are done at your own risk. 

  • Under no circumstances will guests be allowed in the pool when Camp Lakey Gap is scheduled to use the pool. These times will be published online.
  • Children and youth ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. 
  • Park by the pool or near the office. Be sure your parking pass is visible on the dash of your car. Do not park on roadways.
  • Do not swim if you hear thunder or see lightning.
  • Do not enter guest lodging or meeting spaces.
  • Do not litter. Take only pictures, leave only footprints.
  • There is no smoking in the swimming area. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes of any kind.
  • No pets allowed inside the pool fence.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome. Owners must keep control of their dogs on a leash at all times and clean up after them. Christmount reserves the right to revoke dog privileges at any time. Please note, we have several friendly animals (dogs, cats, and chickens) who live full-time on the property. If your dog does not play well with others, please keep him/her well-restrained on a leash or leave at home.
  • Follow directions on all posted signs.
  • We recommend guests never hike or swim alone.

Our policies are in place for the safety and enjoyment of all Christmount guests and Camp Lakey Gap campers. Christmount reserves the right to cancel membership and guest pass privileges of any member or guest who does not adhere to our policies.  No refunds will be issued.
