Summer Programs

Statement of Reassurance

We hope you and your families are doing well in the midst of this corona virus pandemic.  I am sure some of you have been thinking about what effects this situation might have on our summer camps, mission weeks, reunions, and other programs here.  We want you to rest assured that we are already making plans to keep all participants, staff, and volunteers safe, and are strategically moving forward with the mindset that all gatherings will be allowed to happen here this summer.

We want to encourage you to go ahead and register for your event – camps, mission weeks, reunions, church retreats, workshops – with the peace of mind that we are guaranteeing a full refund (or credit for a future event) for cancellations of up to 24-hours in advance.

Though we pride ourselves on maintaining exceptionally clean facilities, we are including additional measures per CDC guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of everyone who attends an event at Christmount this year. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will send out more communication to keep you apprised of how we are handling health concerns and what our plan is for keeping everyone safe and everything sanitized here at Christmount.

Our primary concern is the safety of our guests, and our deepest hope is that this pandemic will end soon. Christmount is committed to providing a place for all to discover community, acceptance, & purpose ~ and to that end will implement all necessary steps and take every precaution in order to do so.

By the time things settle and we begin to craft a new normal together, we anticipate everyone will be looking for a good place to get outside, run around, and enjoy the company of others. We hope you will make plans to join us at Christmount.

If – for whatever reason – you are unable to join us at Christmount this summer, would you consider making a contribution to Christmount, if you are financially able to do so? Christmount is feeling the adverse effects of multiple cancellations this spring and summer, and would benefit greatly from additional donations to help keep our staff in place.

Thank you for taking a minute to read this letter. We are sending out hope that you are healthy and safe and that we will see your smiling faces soon. Please let us know if there is anything Christmount can do for you during this time.

We’ll all get through this … together.

With Gratitude,

Rev. Rob Morris, Executive Director
