Senior High and Middle School youth groups from the southeastern regions of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), as well as others, are invited to Winterfest.

Come to Winterfest for:
Fun/Community Building: Besides skiing and snowboarding at Sugar Mountain, your group will meet other youth from around the Southeast and have a great time sharing their talents and other evening activities.
Mission/Outreach: Groups are asked to bring medical supplies or canned food to donate (click here for more info), and share with other groups what your group does back home to help others.
Worship/Spirituality: Take part in well-planned and meaningful worships that are participatory.
Talent Sharing: Each group is asked to plan a talent for sharing on Saturday night: a skit, song, dance, or anything appropriate for a church group setting.  Record any music you use on a tape or disk. Individuals  may also participate!

Each youth group is responsible for its own transportation to and from the slopes. At least one youth sponsor must accompany the group to the slopes.

Sponsors must monitor their youth groups throughout the weekend and are responsible for their behavior.

Winterfest 1:
2 night, 1 ski-day event
Talent show on Saturday night
Worship with communion on Sunday morning

Winterfest 2:
President's Day weekend
Skiing on Saturday and Sunday
Icebreakers and talent show on Saturday night
Sunday evening worship and communion service designed for youth

Lodging
Guest House motel rooms:
   2 queen beds; linens provided
   youth are housed 3 or 4 to a room
   single or double rooms add $20.00 per night per person
Group Lodge:
   32-bunkbed facility, sleeping 8 to a rooms. Linens provided.
