Are you seeking a place to spend time in
prayer, reflection, contemplation and
study...
some time to find a sense of the “sacred” in life?
Christmount is such a place. Located in Black Mountain, 15 miles east of
Asheville, NC, Christmount is a small conference and retreat center.
Streams flow through this quiet, serene mountain cove. Outdoor worship centers offer privacy and intimacy with nature.
Hiking trails of varying difficulty wind through the more than 400 acres of
forest surrounding the conference center.
What will I do?
We all would like to have the experience of spending time alone
with God,
but some of us are intimidated by the idea. Rev. Jamie Brame, Christmount’s Church Relations
Director, will be glad to assist you in planning and designing your time apart.
Please contact Jamie at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival.
It is sometimes helpful to talk to someone during your retreat, and Jamie is available
to help you or to direct you to a spiritual guide.
From a day-long retreat to a 2- or 3-day retreat in silence with God, the Christmount
staff can help you plan your visit to lend itself to your spiritual needs.
