YOUTH EVENTS and CAMPS

PLEASE read these statements first, before you ask us about any camps:

Camps at Christmount fall into THREE areas.

1. These are the camps that Christmount does: Work Camps, Mountain Camps, Middle School Girls Camp, Primary Camp, Camp Sunshine, and Camp Agape. You will find these camps listed in the chart below on the left-hand side under "Christmount-sponsored Camps," in red. We can answer every question about these camps in our office. They are the camps we do. There are links below the chart for Christmount camps.

2. Camps sponsored by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in North Carolina: CYF Conference; 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Camp; 6th and 7th Grade Camp. Christmount does not plan these camps, and you cannot register through Christmount for them. We may not be able to answer any questions about them EXCEPT the dates (we know a little something about them). Please use the link to the Christian Church in NC web site (www.ncdisciples.org) to get information and ask questions about these camps, listed below in the chart on the right-hand side in green. Even though they are held at Christmount, they are not Christmount camps. We are sorry this is confusing.

3. Camps led by the Autism Society of North Carolina. A link for these camps are at the bottom of this page.

Work Camp
       July 21 - 26, 2008
Mission trip for CYF and Chi-Rho groups, especially designed for groups who have not done a mission trip before.

Middle School Girls Camp
    June 9 - 14, 2008
A special time for rising 7th, 8th and 9th   grade girls.

Mountain Camp
    June 9 - 14, 2008
Learn about living in a tent, cooking out, hiking and nature. Rising 4th, 5th and 6th graders.

Camp Agape
   June 30 - July 5, 2008
For economically disadvantaged youth.

Camp Sunshine
   July 7 - 11, 2008
A vacation for mentally challenged adults ages 18 & older.

Primary Camp
July 18 - 20, 2008
A first time camp for rising 2nd & 3rd grade children.
